Rock Hard Girls Club
By Jen Borman

Jen Borman is a leading personal trainer and fit-preneur impacting the lives of clients in Columbus, Ohio (and hopefully across the country in the very near future). Her training style and methodology work cohesively to create amazing workouts that are specifically designed for women. She draws from the very physiques that inspire her: athletic and toned, while still remaining feminine. Jen's workouts are addictive, innovative and the results speak for themselves. It's her natural, easy connection with people that truly sets her apart. Jen is the perfect combination of tough and sweet. Clients love working out with her because they know they are going to be pushed but they don't feel bad when they need to take a break. It's her energy and genuine love of fitness that make her the best in the business. Clients crave their one-on-one sessions as well as her weekly workout class "Rock Hard Girls Club."

Jen's interest in health and fitness began at an early age. From water sports to dirt bikes, her family was always involved in a fun sport. She found her love for running and in-line skating in middle school and played on the tennis team in high school and college. She attended Chatham College, located in Pittsburgh, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing. She worked in the fashion industry for several years, traveling all over the country. In 2009 she decided to leave the fashion world and start "Personal Training by Jen". She realized that helping women get healthy and happy were her true calling. When she's not working out in her home studio, training clients, or teaching "Rock Hard Girls Club", Jen enjoys spending time with her husband, Jay, and their Old English Sheepdog, Barkley.

Jen is an I.S.S.A. certified Personal Trainer (International Sports Sciences Association). She trains out of her home studio and teaches "Rock Hard Girls Club" - a ridiculously fun boot camp-style workout class that is specifically designed with the female client in mind.

FUN FACT:  My husband, a huge history buff, is into WWII reenacting. When we first started dating I wanted to see what it was all about so I did a couple reenactments with him. I slept outside (without a tent), drank out of a rusty canteen, dodged "bullets" and carried a pretty heavy gun. I even pretended to get shot! Yeah, it's pretty crazy what we do for love. I do not think I will ever go again but I am glad that I did.

My grandparents are in their 80's and still exercise! My grandfather writes up weekly workouts for them to do together. They want to stay healthy and strong for one another. They are such an inspiration!
