Her personal training career took off when she landed her first job at New York Health and Racquet Club. She’s also worked with MetroActive Fitness, Bonita Porte’s Energetic Juniors (with children) and has private clientele throughout New York City.
Amy’s exercise programs are strongly influenced by Corrective Exercise, which consists of core, posture, and balance exercises to prevent injury, increase range of motion through flexibility and stretching, and fix muscular imbalances. Amy’s dance background has been extremely beneficial and enhanced her knowledge of body mechanics. She also trains in Muay Thai (Thai kickboxing), teaching clients self defense techniques as an alternative to the traditional high intensity cardio workout, as well as strength and resistance (weight) training. She draws upon all of her skills and versatility. Her enthusiasm and passion for helping others is infectious.
