A native of Virginia Beach, Rachel moved to NYC as a dance student at NYU's Tisch of the Arts. She then fell in love with indoor cycling classes which soon transferred to a love for road racing, winning her age group in the 25th Annual NYC Biathlon in 2009. She is a Schwinn Master Trainer who travels nationally to certify instructors in the Schwinn Indoor Cycling program. She was a featured athlete in Beachbody's workout series "Insanity" and Asylum" and has made several appearances and contributed expert fitness advice for ABC news, NY1, Fox morning news, ESPN women, Fitness magazine, Howcast, and more. Currently she teaches a wide variety of classes at Equinox in NYC including cycling, treadmill race training, kettlebells, ViPR, metabolic conditioning, and Tabata. Rachel has been certified by ACE, AFAA, NASM, EFTI, Kettlebell Concepts, and YogaFit. Rachel is working on her Masters in Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation at Brooklyn College.

Rachel was working as a waitress and bartender and had gained 40 pounds in a years time. One day she said "enough" and quit her job, the next day got hired at a gym and has never looked back.
