Rich Tuma has been involved in health and fitness since the age of 13 and has become one of the most diversely trained fitness/wellness professionals in the World. He is a certified personal trainer through ACE, AFAA, and NESTA. He has more than ten fitness certifications including Speed Agility & Quickness trainer, Mind-Body fitness specialist, Golf conditioning specialist, Senior fitness trainer, Resistance training/Weight room specialist, kickboxing aerobic instructor, primary aerobics, biomechanics specialist, anti aging fitness specialist and Pilates. Rich is a nationally certified massage therapist (NCBTMB) with over 10 years experience. He has over 10 massage certifications in Neuromuscular therapy (NMT), Swedish, Shiatsu, Sports massage, Geriatric massage, Thai yoga bodywork, therapeutic touch, advanced techniques of the neck, rotator cuff specialist, and pathology for massage therapy. Rich is a first degree black belt in tae kwon do, and has studied Jeet kune do, Aikido, and tai chi. Rich also recently starred in and produced Rich Tuma's Fitness Fusion through apogee media.
In college Rich studied nutrition and worked towards a degree in Dietetic Technology and is a certified Fitness Nutritionist. He is the President/CEO of Revolutionary Technology Nutrition a company that delivers supplements that stand the test of time that are natural, safe, and effective. Rich started RTN in 2003 and has grown companies product line nationwide with natural Bionic Edge Whey. Rich has made some of the best tasting natural protein powders in the World and thousands of satisfied customers use RTN products daily. Rich also competed in the first men's fitness contests In 1992, (Atlanta) and at 19 was the youngest contestant to place in the top 5. Rich made a comeback in 2004 competing in the world WNBF Mr. Fitness contest (in New York) after an 8 year layoff and won the Mr. Fitness World title. Rich came in the best shape of his life and proved that muscle matures with age through quality training, clean nutritional habits, healthy lifestyle (staying natural) will stand up the test of time. He was the owner of Elite Fitness Center from 1996 to 2010 and recently is the owner of 1103 the Body Shop personal training Studio. Rich has written articles on exercise, nutrition and health in several magazines and newspapers. Rich likes to spend his free time lecturing on fitness and nutrition at schools, offices, companies, organizations, TV, radio, gyms, retirement homes and other functions in the tri-state area. For over 20 years Rich has helped thousands of people achieve there goals and his clients are true believers in him.
My favorite sport is baseball. I play softball and bowl in a league. Married with 1 child.
